Foxconn accelerates the layout of LED market in southwest China
Foxconn, which was invested by Taiwan Hon Hai Group, is now stepping up its layout in the southwest of Chinese Mainland, with Guiyang City, Guizhou Province as the strategic key point.
Foxconn explored a new model for entering the mainland domestic demand market in Guiyang. At the end of last year, Guizhou Foxconn Demonstration Factory (Foxconn Trade City) was established in Jinyang Science and Technology Industrial Park, High tech Zone, Guiyang City. It is composed of Guizhou Fuhuada Precision Electronics and Guizhou Fulian Electronic Technology. It is a front store and back factory, and a new sales demonstration factory integrating production, sales, exhibition and product experience. The factory mainly produces TV, tablet computer, electronic whiteboard, LED and other four categories of products.
The performance of the front stores and back factories of Foxconn Trade City needs to be improved
After the transformation of Foxconn into a channel and private brand, Guiyang Foxconn Trade City, the first "front store and back factory" in mainland China, allows consumers to see the production process of goods, experience products, and reduce the cost of sales pipeline. However, since the establishment of Guiyang Foxconn Trade City more than four months ago, the performance has not been bright.
Guiyang Foxconn Trade City, located in Jinyang New District, is divided into front stores and back factories, separated by a transparent glass window. The front store displays goods, including televisions, mobile phones, LEDs, electronic whiteboards and various accessories. It is a new sales factory integrating commodity sales, product display, product experience and industrial production. Guizhou officials said that this is the first demonstration factory of Foxconn in Guizhou and the first commercial demonstration factory of Foxconn.
The factory workshop is separated from the front store by only a glass window. Customers can see the production process of the products they consume, experience the technology content contained in it, and feel the authenticity and value of the products while consuming. Through the large glass window, consumers can witness a clean and orderly workshop and advanced equipment, including three production lines of thin TV, LED and electronic whiteboard.
Foxconn has developed the "Foxconn" LED LCD TV, which uses the world's most advanced tenth generation LCD panel to present super fine pictures with high technology; In addition, there are six different specifications of seven inch tablet computers, and four five inch to five point five inch smart phones, also known as the "rich visual" brand.
However, the on-site sales situation of the Trade City is cold and the flow of people is sparse. Xie Mengru, deputy manager of Hon Hai, said that the current sales performance "needs everyone's help" and is still working hard.
A Guiyang citizen said that the 70 inch TV sold in the Trade City was priced at 11999 yuan, while online dealers were selling at 10780 yuan. It seems that it is not cheaper to go to the Trade City to buy on site, unlike Foxconn's promotion that the cost of sales pipeline is subtracted, and the profit is small but the turnover is quick.
